Meet our amazing Aussies!
We love the Australian Shepherd because of the unbelievable bond we've developed with these amazing animals! We patiently waited for the perfect individual dogs that we think best represent the Australian Shepherd and can continue to better the breed standard.
Our dogs are all the largest in their litters, have minimal white markings, and have the best personalities ever! Each of our dogs are DNA tested for genetic faults and fully OFA certified for eyes, hips, and elbows before breeding. We are very selective with our litters and currently only plan for two litters per year.
Unlike many breeding programs, our dogs are all treated as family members with working jobs here on the farm. Some work harder than others, but everyone has a role.
Ruger
Ruger is a big, beautiful Red Merle with split blue/amber eyes. While very large (23 in/70 lbs), he is one giant teddy bear who loves belly rubs and napping in the hay pile. His best friend is Flower the cat and they spend endless hours together. His laid-back personality and solid colored face are passed to his puppies, giving them their “chill” side and their distinctive minimal-white look. He has a big strong bone structure and produces strong, stable, and healthy puppies. Ruger participates in disc dog sports but prefers to be on the farm in his familiar environment. Ruger has had OFA prelims and adult testing for hips/elbows, OFA eyes, and is 100 % genetically clear via DNA testing through Orivet.
Remington (Remy)
Remington (Remy) is our oldest Aussie and the matriarch of the farm. She herds the sheep, watches over the pastures at night, and brings a much needed sense of stability to the farm. Remy stands 20.5" tall and weighs 60lbs. She competes in the Up-Dog Challenge Games and has an insatiable love of fetch whether it be a ball, disc or anything else she can get her paws on! She is strong, loving, gentle and trusted with the most difficult jobs we have on the farm. Remy has had all OFA testing including hips, elbow, and eyes.
Marlin (Marley)
Marlin (Marley) is a gorgeous Red-Factored Black Tri and has amazing yellow/brown eyes. Her thin white stripe down her face comes through for half of her puppies, leaving behind her trademark look. She is so kind and loves being around her people. Marley throws puppies with every possible coat and eye color when paired with Ruger. Her temperament is very energetic and playful, with a specific passion for toys! She has a slimmer frame than Remy, standing 20” tall and weighing 50lbs. Marley has had all OFA testing including hips, elbows, and eyes. She is DNA tested and cleared through Orivet and is single allele HUU carrier (n/HUU).
*HUU is inherited as an autosomal recessive trait, meaning a dog needs two copies of the mutated SLC2A9 gene to actually be at risk for the disease. Since Ruger is 100% clear, her puppies can only be carriers and cannot develop HUU.
Stardust
Stardust is our Ruger X Remy keeper pup from our 2024 Spring Trees litter. She is blue merle with one brown and one brown/blue eye. She is extremely high energy and working towards becoming our next herding dog and sport competitor. Stardust currently shows in AKC conformation and is an absolute force in Disc Dog. She carriers Ruger’s large build standing 21” tall and weighing 55lbs. Stardust has the perfect mixture of Ruger’s gentle side and Remy’s intensity. She is a natural jumper and loves being active both on the farm and in any sporting atmosphere. She is 100% genetically clear via Orivet and has had OFA testing for hips, elbows, and eyes. Stardust will not be bred in the near future as she is still very active in other activities!
Azalea
Azalea is our Ruger X Marley keeper pup from the 2026 Spring Flower Litter. She is a beautifully marked Red-Bi Merle with a very light colored coat. She has one blue eye and one hazel eye. She is a wonderful mixture of Ruger and Marley, with Ruger’s build, “tiger striping” on the face and his lighthearted personality. She also has Marley’s speed, agility, tenacity, and her absolute love for toys. She is a higher-drive Aussie and although not the biggest in her litter, she can hold her own with the best! She will be working with Ava to start junior showing in AKC/ASCA conformation and will be joining the disc dog circuit once she’s old enough to jump and catch! This little lady is amazing and I can’t wait to see what her future has in store!
